Please welcome Amy from Amy Cornwell Designs! I am so happy to share with you this incredibly talented woman. Be sure to check out her stuff and leave her some love!

Tell us a little about yourself.
Hi there! My name is Amy and I am the owner and designer. I have been making jewelry since high school and started the business in January 2004. I have been married for 9 years and have two beautiful children. I love all things creative so that means jewelry, sewing, scrapbooking, baking and general crafts. I like to do just about anything creative with my hands!
Tell us about your business.
Amy Cornwell started as a beaded jewelry business but evolved in 2007 to include stamped, personalized items and it's really grown in the past few years. I sell sterling silver, gold filled and copper items that are stamped with names, dates, initials or quotes. I love to make a piece that people can cherish for years to come celebrating the events in their lives. My favorite items are the Heirloom pieces because the charms are made to be removed in the future and given to loved ones as something to cherish.
When did you get the great idea to create Amy Cornwell Designs?
In 2003 I went to a jewelry party and it rekindled my love for beading and creating. I had a jewelry party in October 2003 and it went so well that I officially started my business in 2004.
I always sell a lot of key chains during Father's Day and the Christmas season for dads and for moms there really has been a lot of variety in what people are buying. I love the fact that people enjoy a lot of different styles in my shop.
Tell me about your favorite items in the shop.
My absolute favorite are the heirloom pieces that I mentioned earlier. Another item I love is the You Are the Key necklace because it features a large skeleton key that is solid sterling silver and a gorgeous Swarovski crystal pendant. I just posted a Large Tag Charm Bracelet the other day and have received many complements on it on my Facebook Fan Page.
On your blog you post more than just jewelry. Tell us about your other passions.
I have so many passions! Basically anything creative is something I enjoy. One of my newest loves is sewing so I've been teaching myself how to make purses, clutches, scarves and all kinds of other goodies. I frequently post tutorials on the blog so that my readers can create too. My blog has become a plethora of information. I love to share product reviews, new jewelry, tutorials, things I've created, recipes, family pictures – so many things! It's a lifestyle blog so it encompasses everything I'm passionate about.
What’s your fondest crafty memory?
My favorite crafty memories have been recent. My daughter (who is 5 years old) is like a mini-me and loves to create. She frequently comes in the studio when I'm working asking if she can make a necklace or even just color while I'm creating. Sharing that with her is a gift and I can't wait to see how talented she becomes (even more than she already is)!
I create almost every day but the most recent thing that I really love is a hat pin from some old lace. It looks great on my hat and only took 10 minutes to make!
