Snow Day & Snow Ice Cream

I've been iced in since Tuesday, and today we got blessed with lots of snow! Gotta be careful though because there is THICK sheets of ice under all that snow. I guess this may not seem like a lot to some of you, but for Texas this is a big deal.

Since I don't have kids, I'll show off my fur babies now. Abby is the white one & Mikey is the black one. He especially loves the snow, loves eating it, loves laying in it and loves running through it.

They have also really enjoyed the fires we have been building inside the house. Although today we are out of wood...sad day!

Now that you have seen our fun Snow Day pictures, here is the best part about a snow day...
SNOW ICE CREAM!!

This is for one serving! For some reason, my husband doesn't like the stuff. I personally think he's nuts because I ate this for breakfast right after my muffins. Mmm, delish!

2 cups of snow! (Steer clear of yellow snow...)

2 tbs of sugar (you could get away with one I think)
1/4 a tsp of vanilla (much better if it's the good stuff from Mexico)
1/4 cup of milk

Stir real good & EAT!
