What's Cooking Wednesday

I'm a cheater for a cook. No really I am. Or maybe I am so amazing at cooking that I don't ever follow recipes and just make whatever it is I want. Hmm...probably a cheater.

So this week I post about my staple items.

1. Tyson Boneless Chicken Tenderloins - I use these instead of breasts most of the time because they thaw faster. I by them in bulk at Sam's and use them for pretty much anything we make using chicken. Only exceptions: Chicken Parmesan & Chicken Cordon Bleu.

2. Classico's Light Creamy Alfredo Sauce - I told you I was a cheat. It tastes delicious and it's much healthier than the alternative.

3. Angel Hair Pasta - I prefer this over the spaghetti noodles for everything but spaghetti. We eat a lot of pasta in case you couldn't tell.

4. Del Monte Cut Green Beans - one of the only vegetables my husband will eat so we eat it a lot.

Now for my spices...I cheat on these too!

1. Season All - I definitely use this often and yes sometimes just over chicken to give it a different taste.

2. Weber Kick'N Chicken - I use this on chicken ALL the time!

3. Weber Roasted Garlic & Herb - I use this on chicken, shrimp & pasta.

4. Grill Shakers Poultry Blend -Again, I use this on chicken.

Now I have proved to you that I totally cheat when it comes to cooking. I do cook other things, but these are the things I fall back on when I am in a pinch or don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. We eat a lot of chicken with green beans or chicken & pasta. We are boring.

  1. My favorite is ' Season All' it speaks volumes. My favorite thing to keep in the kitchen is provence herbs ( its a lavender, oregano, thyme blend.) Good for everything!
