Mikey is a cute puppy which is good because otherwise I think I would hate him. He has cost us a bit of money especially in regards to toys/things he destroys!
Mikey is black lab & border collie mix so he's FULL of energy! We have purchased his toy after toy mostly to find them destroyed. Partly because we don't want to spend a lot of money on a toy and then he turn around and destroy it. He does have a few toys that have survived long term, but most hit the trash can in a few hours. Even his nylabones look worn out!
Lately he's been grabbing things around the house instead of his toys since he is running out. I think I've thrown awn 5 rope toys this week (these were left over from a previous dog who had an obsession). With all this said, tonight after dinner we ventured into Petsmart to entertain ourselves. We picked up several toys and betting on their lifetime in our home. An hour, two days, a week, or longer?
Then we came across the tug-a-jug, I've been telling Cody we needed this since I heard Lauren talking about it, but we never buy it cuz we are too cheap. But tonight I did some serious convincing since we waste so much money on toys he destroys I thought it was about time we got one that would a) entertain him for hours and b) not die by the end of next week.
So here is what Mikey has been doing for the last 2 hours, he still has about a 1/2 cup of dog food left in there. That's right, he's so obsessed with his food we didn't even have to put treats in the thing. Cheap treats!!

That is awesome! Our little Min Pin distroys toys in seconds as well! We take bets on how long they will survive. We usually hit the petstore after holidays and buy holiday toys that are cheaper! I will have to check these out!
