When it came to baby shower games I was anti the classics. That means no measuring my belly with string or trying baby foods. I was even against some of the new popular games like guessing the dirty diapers!
My friend Tasha took my advice and avoided most games. She couldn't just go without games altogether so we played a little bingo. Since I took away the fun of playing games she decided to do something else fun.
She put out a huge stack of diapers left over from my beautiful tiered diaper cake.
With these diapers she left out some sharpies to leave notes for mom. Most people didn't join the fun (party poopers), but a few of my close friends had a blast writing all over the diapers. I just got to them this week and changing diapers has been way more fun. I call them my conversational diapers. Each one of them makes me smile.

Other fun things I've seen on the diapers? Poop or Pee...(front) doesn't matter just change me (back). Thanks Mom! This Ones for You. They even drew some pictures on some like a frog, Texas Tech & Texas Rangers symbols.
I'll be doing this for some of the future showers I host. We were worried they would get sharpie all over the clothes, but it's only happened on her nighttime diaper that lasts all night. So my advice...plain diaper for nighttime but otherwise conversational diapers are a go!

What a fabulous idea!! Too funny :D
ReplyDeleteI like your idea so much. I did not even think that this kind of diapers ever made before. The colors and the patterns of diapers is very funny.

What a fun idea ... I love it! It would have totally brightened my day to read those little messages when I was changing stinky diapers.
