In 4th grade, my Papaw passed away from leukemia. My Grandma thought it would be a sweet reminder to us, her grandchildren, if she made us rings from my Papaw's wedding band. Each us of got a gold band with our birthstone as the stone. Lucky me, my birthstone is the diamond. As a little girl I remember dreaming that some day my husband could use that ring as my wedding band. While that diamond couldn't have served the purpose of being my center diamond it is indeed in the midst of my engagement band. As I look down at my sparkling hand I long to some day get anniversary diamond jewelry.
When we got engaged we talked about getting bands for anniversary dates, but I kind of wanted my ring complete on our wedding day. I wanted the ring I put on that day to be the ring I wore forever. So we decided against anniversary bands. So now I'd like to add pieces for my anniversaries. I'd love to some day have a beautiful necklace to symbolize the years of marriage we've undergone or maybe a beautiful pair of earrings.

I'd love to get this diamond necklace for maybe our 5th Anniversary. I love that it looks like am ampersand which is the perfect way of saying "Cody & Jana forever".
Or perhaps a pair of diamond earrings to match my wedding ring:
Loving this diamond bracelet:
