Ever since Emily was born we would walk past the full length mirror in the hallway stopping briefly to see her reaction to the other baby looking back at her. Right around the four month mark she grinned at that baby. Each time we'd pass that sweet baby in the mirror she'd light up from ear to ear. So I've moved said mirror to the floor in the living room so she can play with her friend.
Most of the she just stares at her friend and smiles. I don't blame her...she's a pretty cute baby!
"Oh, hey mom, forgot you were right there..."
Luckily I'm not encouraging vanity at this age just simple play! :)
What are some ways you entertain your little one? Sometimes I feel like it's so hard to keep them entertained at this age. We move from toy to toy all day long. But for now I'll enjoy that she's not mobile. I'm not ready to baby proof just yet!

Oh she is so cute. My little girl who is a week older than Emily, loves her baby gym. She will spend about 20 minutes on that thing. But without that we are moving from toy to toy too. If I take her outside she is pretty content and she also likes the fabric books with the crunchy cellophane in them that make a lot of noise.
ReplyDeleteLol, just wait, my two year old stands in front of the mirror and dances, sings, makes faces, watches how everything moves. The other day I caught her telling herself she likes herself in the mirror. Cutie patuties!!
